LINKUP has been crafting agile and dependable interface connections since 1996, consistently leading the way in technological innovation. Our story begins with a relentless pursuit of perfection. At LINKUP, we refuse to compromise on quality, yet strive to offer premium products at affordable prices. Providing exceptional technical support is a core part of what we do, as we aim to empower our customers and help them troubleshoot any issues they may encounter.
What makes our products unique? We take great pride in delivering aesthetically pleasing, high-quality components that enhance the building experience. Hearing how our customers utilize our products is a true source of joy for us. If you encounter any trouble, simply reach out, and we'll be happy to lend a hand.
To ensure the optimal performance of your build, we've developed a comprehensive troubleshooting guide. The first step is to update the BIOS on both your motherboard and GPU, securing the latest firmware and software updates from the manufacturer's website. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try resetting the BIOS to its default settings, as overclocking can sometimes lead to instability in a Gen 4 setting.
Next, ensure the system can boot properly without the riser cable. If the issue persists, clean the connector contacts on both the riser cable and GPU using rubbing alcohol to remove any potential build-up. Make certain the cable is fully and securely inserted into the socket, as a poor connection can result in signal lanes dropping from x16 to x8 or even x4 speeds.
If the problem still remains, try using a different PCIe slot on the motherboard, preferably the one closest to the CPU. In rare cases, where none of the above steps provide a solution, the issue may lie with the quality of the motherboard and GPU components, as PCI-E specifications do not strictly regulate the use of riser cables. In such instances, we recommend trying a different riser cable, exchanging the motherboard, or even opting for a different motherboard brand. If the problem persists, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly, and we'll be happy to assist you further.
To cater to various build configurations, LINKUP offers PCIe riser cables in a range of orientations: 270° "Left Angle - Downward," 180° "Straight," and 90° "Right Angle - Upward." These options allow for seamless integration with your system's layout, ensuring the optimal positioning of your graphics card.
